Caring for Waverley Mills x Sheet Society Throws

WASHING & AIRING

  • Air regularly to keep your throw fresh (and wash less). When washing, cold hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle. Always keep the temperature cool and use a wool-safe detergent. We recommend you do not use a fabric softener as this can clog your throw's natural fibres, which are so good at keeping you warm.

DRYING

  • It’s best to hang your throw flat over a clothesline outside. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading or drying of the wool. Do not tumble dry, as this can ruin the softness and shape of your throw.

IRONING

  • We recommend you do not iron.

STORING

  • Make sure your throw is completely dry before folding. Your throw comes with a reusable tote bag so you can store your throw during the warmer months.

THE FABRIC

Waverley Mills x Sheet Society

A cosy blend of Australian Merino Wool and recycled Eden Cotton Sheets.

Bringing together natural fibres for the perfect throw, we’ve created a unique throw with Waverley Mills, Australia’s oldest working textile mill. We’re all about bedding Made Better, so we wanted to give Eden Cotton sheets new life that could no longer be used as is.

These throws are made from the highest quality Australian Merino Wool, the world’s finest and softest wool, blended using recycled Eden Cotton fabric (Long-staple 100% cotton). The result is a soft and cosy throw — a locally produced closed-loop innovation.
