I grew up on a farm and my dad was a professional polo player, so horses were a huge part of my childhood.

This partnership became a deeply personal one for me. The cowboy figures, horses and hats are all inspired by those memories and by my dad, who passed away around eight years ago.

Hotel Palomino felt like a way to honour where I came from. My favourite horse growing up was called Cisco and he was a Palomino, so the name brings back some very happy memories.

It was really a collaborative discovery. The Sheet Society team and I started sharing inspiration back and forth, and from there I began hand-painting different layers and elements. Slowly, we started to see a story and a world emerging.

Hotel Palomino wasn't something I arrived with first; it revealed itself as we started painting and seeing where the collection wanted to go. Once we landed on that name and that feeling, everything clicked into place. The warmth, the freedom, that sense of somewhere sun-drenched and a little romantic.

It's the hotel I've always wanted to stay in. Which is maybe not a coincidence, given my dream is to one day open a boutique hotel.

I grew up travelling all over Australia and overseas because of my dad's polo career, so seeing new places has always shaped the way I look at the world.

Later, my husband reignited my love of travel and I fell completely in love with the Mediterranean. Spain, Greece and Italy inspire me endlessly. The colours, textures, patterns and tiles all found their way into this collection through the warm ochres, dusty corals, florals and bold prints.

My creativity comes from the women in my family. My mum and nana were both talented artists, and I think that love of colour, beauty and storytelling has always stayed with me.

Everything starts by hand for me. I sketch, paint and work on paper before I ever open a computer. For this collection, the cowboy figures and horses were painted specifically with the bedding in mind, thinking about how a figure would sit across a pillowcase or how a motif would repeat across a quilt cover.

From there, the designs were refined digitally before being brought to life with the Sheet Society team. Seeing something that started as a painting become a bed you want to climb straight into is magical. Every detail, from the elastic and zips to the packaging, was considered together.

I believe art should be part of everyday life. Even the smallest moments can be filled with colour, texture and things that bring us joy.

I have little rituals throughout my day that make me feel good, whether it's my morning coffee in a beautiful cup, lighting incense or putting on a favourite playlist. I think about bedding in the same way.

Life gets busy and overwhelming, so I hope this collection encourages people to find joy in those everyday moments and create a space that feels warm, personal and uplifting.
