Here’s how to work your valance into your dreamiest bedroom yet.

• Throw on your pillows – then add a few more. You can never have too many pillows. 
  

• Get a roomier, cosier, bigger quilt cover. Some of our dreamers opt for slightly bigger quilts, giving their bed a nice overhung, lived-in look. If you have a queen bed and valance, you could go for a king quilt. A double, choose queen. And so on.
  

• Layer your bedding like you do your clothes. Why should your wardrobe have all the fun? Bring the same style and energy to your bedroom. Layer flat sheets with fitted sheets, valances with blankets, and pillows with more pillows. Mix and match colours. Play with patterns. Dress it up or down. It’s your choice.
