LOW DOWN™ Quilts & Pillows care guide

WASHING  

• Generally, your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow should be washed once every 6 months. Of course, if your bedding becomes soiled or stained, wash more frequently to keep it fresh. 
• Our LOW DOWN™ Quilts and Pillows are pre-washed and ready to throw straight onto your bed. But when it comes time to wash them - give them the room they need for a proper clean. Wash them separately (on their own) on a gentle cycle. Keep the washing temperature cool and use a small amount of mild laundry detergent.
• Do not bleach, rub, soak, or wring your LOW DOWN™ Quilt or Pillow.
• Regularly airing your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow on a warm, breezy day can also help keep it fresh and help decrease the need for regular washing.

DRYING

• We recommend that you tumble dry your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow on a low heat setting until completely dry. If you think the item is dry, it’s worth running one last low heat dry cycle. Many people assume it’s dry by the feel of the outer cotton casing, but the down & feather inside could still remain slightly damp. 
• TIP: Add clean tennis balls or dryer balls when tumble drying your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow. Adding this to your drying cycle can help speed up the process and prevent the down and feather from clumping while it dries.
• Line drying after washing is possible, however, we do not recommend this as a preferred drying method. This is due to risk of damp spots and clumps which may encourage mould and mildew. If line dry is your only option, it’s important to ensure your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow are completely dry before taking them back to bed.
• TIP: To help avoid any clumping, give your Quilt and Pillow a good hard shake a few times throughout the line drying process.

IRONING

• We recommend you do not iron our LOW DOWN™ Quilts and Pillows

STORING

• Make sure your LOW DOWN™ Quilt and Pillow are completely dry before storing them.  We recommend storing in the reusable LOW DOWN™ cotton bag that your product came packaged in. This allows your bedding to breathe and better retain all the natural attributes, to give you an exceptional sleep experience for years to come.
