Caring for your Rory Washed Cotton Blanket

AIRING

  • Rory Washed Cotton Blankets do not require frequent cleaning. If you use it daily, then wash it every month or so, if you use it seasonally, wash it once per season.
  • Airing your Rory Washed Cotton Blanket is the best way to freshen between washes. Take the blanket outside and give it a good shake before hanging it in an area where there is good airflow.

WASHING

  • Your Rory Washed Cotton Blanket comes pre-washed so you can use it right away. When it comes time to washing it, we recommend a cold hand or delicate machine wash. Always make sure the temperature is cool.

DRYING

  • Line dry your blanket in the shade, preferably on a clothesline to support the weight of the wet blanket.
  • Avoid direct sunlight as this can cause the colour to fade. If you can’t wait for a cool, cloudy day, hang them inside to dry.
  • Do not tumble dry your Rory Washed Cotton as it can ruin the softness and shape of the blanket (nightmare material).

IRONING

  • We recommend you do not iron your Rory Washed Cotton Blanket.

STORING

Make sure it is completely dry before storing. Do not store in plastic, like you, your blanket needs to breathe.
