Show your quilt who's boss.

No one likes changing their quilt cover. We're here to show you there's an easier way. Three to be exact.

THE BREAKDOWN

The Gravity method

Make sure your quilt cover is inside out.

1. Lay your quilt folded lengthways on the bed.

2. Trick: wash it inside out so when it comes out of the dryer it is ready to go.

3. Put your hands through the cover until you’ve found the two far corners.

4. Grab the two corners of your quilt, which you have conveniently prepared on the bed, and let gravity help you out.

5. Shake it. Shake it. Shake it.

6. When it's about three quarters of the way down, you can lay it on the bed and tuck in the last two ends.

7. Position the four corners and zip up the bottom edge.

THE BREAKDOWN

The Burrito method

1. Lay your quilt cover inside out, flat on the bed, so that the zipper edge is open at the bottom of the bed.

2. Lay your quilt flat on top of the cover, making sure all four corners match up.

3. Starting at the top edge, roll your cover and quilt up together like a burrito.

4. When you get to the foot of your bed, reach into the opening (it's best to find the corner), and fold it over one end of your burrito, exposing the right side of your quilt.

5. Do the same for the other side.

6. Once both sides are turned out, flip over the middle of the quilt as well.

7. Unroll your burrito back up to the top side of the bed.

8. Zip up the bottom.

THE BREAKDOWN

The Clip method

Gather either food clips, chunky bulldog clips, or if you don’t own either, your trusty hair elastics.

1. Lay your quilt cover inside out, flat on the bed, so that the open zipper edge is at the top.

2. Lay your quilt flat on top of the cover, making sure all four corners match up.

3. At the top of the mattress, reach in through the opening, find the corner of the cover and grab the corner of the quilt (make sure it's not twisted), and pull it back through the opening.

4. Clip it to secure in place.

5. Repeat on the other side.

6. Staying on this side, go through the opening all the way to the other side to find the far corner of the cover and match up with its partner corner of the quilt.

7. Pinch and pull it through the opening again.

8. Clip it to secure in place.

9. Repeat on the other side with the last corner.

10. To finish up, just pull all the corners out to the corners of the bed, which will pull the rest of the quilt through the cover and it will naturally fall into place.

11. Remove the clips and zip up the bottom.
